Local Guide
Routes, beaches, food stops, and honest advice from the people who ride these roads every day.
These are the guides we write for guests who want the details before they head out. Which routes work right now, how long they really take, where the good stops are, and when a bike is the wrong tool for the day.

Conditions
The county is rebuilding Poipu Road, including the stretch directly in front of the shop, and the sidewalks are not in yet. It is not as bad as it looks. Traffic through the work zone moves slowly, county crews are out directing cars and helping people cross, and most of where you want to go does not require the work zone at all.
Walk your bike through the heavy sections rather than riding them, follow whatever the Kauai County road crew tells you, and read our guide to getting around Poipu without a car for the routes we are giving guests right now.
Conditions as of September 2026. The roadwork is moving, so give us a call if you want the latest before you head out.
Reserve in a couple of taps and we will have your bikes ready when you arrive.
